Souls of heroes o'er us Are joining in our chorus, As onward we are marching unto triumph or death! God of Creation, &c.
Of our faults convict us,
For our sins afflict us, < But spare our blessed Union, oh ! Lord, we implore. God of Creation, Helper of our Nation, What Thou hast joined, oh ! never Let human treason sever, But be our Guide forever — Our Lord and King !
